Frequently asked questions
What does Bin Force One do?
Bin Force One is a mobile exterior cleaning company based in Rutland, Vermont. We clean and sanitize trash and recycling bins at the curb, and offer power washing, soft washing and fleet washing for homes and businesses.
What areas do you serve?
We serve communities across Vermont, including Rutland City, Killington, Ludlow, Manchester, Middlebury, Burlington, Bennington, Castleton, Fair Haven, Proctor, Woodstock, Montpelier, Stowe. Enter your ZIP code on our trash bin cleaning page to check coverage.
How much does trash bin cleaning cost?
Plans start at $30 per month with 2 bins included. Every-2-months service is $40, quarterly is $50, and a one-time deep clean is $65. Extra bins can be added.
How do I book?
Book online at binforceone.com/booking, or call (802) 558-3533. We confirm the date, usually timed to your regular trash pickup day.
Do you work with businesses and HOAs?
Yes. We work with HOAs, apartment complexes, restaurants, hotels, warehouses, schools, gas stations and retail centers, including dumpster pad cleaning and scheduled programs.
How does curbside bin cleaning work?
We come on (or right after) your trash pickup day. Each bin is washed inside and out with 200°F high-pressure water, scrubbed where needed, deodorized, and returned to the curb. The wastewater is captured in our truck instead of running into the street or storm drain.
How often should bins be cleaned?
Every 4 weeks keeps odors and pests under control, especially in summer. Many customers choose monthly service in warm months and less often in winter.
Why does hot water matter?
Hot water loosens grease and food residue that cold rinsing leaves behind, and high temperatures help kill the bacteria that cause odors. Old food waste in bins is a common source of germs like Salmonella and E. coli.
Where does the dirty water go?
We capture and haul it away. Federal clean-water rules restrict pollutants reaching storm drains, which empty into local streams and lakes, so we do not rinse bins into the street.
What can be power washed?
Hard surfaces such as concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, stone, brick, dumpster pads and commercial walkways.
Is power washing safe for siding and roofs?
Usually not — high pressure can damage siding, shingles and wood. For those surfaces we recommend soft washing instead.
What is soft washing?
Soft washing uses low pressure and cleaning solutions to remove mold, algae, mildew and dirt from siding, roofs, decks and other delicate surfaces without damaging them.
How long do soft washing results last?
Results typically last much longer than a pressure rinse because the solution treats organic growth at the source rather than just blasting the surface.
Do you wash fleets on site?
Yes. We come to your lot and wash trucks, trailers and equipment on site, so vehicles stay in service and drivers do not need to leave.
How often should a fleet be washed?
Many fleets wash monthly, and more often in winter when Vermont road salt speeds up corrosion. We set a schedule that fits your routes.
